Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
