- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sandwich rolls
- Coleslaw (optional)
Instructions
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- In a slow cooker, add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Place the seasoned beef on top of the onions and garlic.
- Pour the beef broth over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
- Mix the shredded beef with barbecue sauce.
- Serve the pulled beef on sandwich rolls, topped with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight with spices.
- Leftover pulled beef can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
