Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter-sugar mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- For the topping, mix shredded coconut with powdered sugar, milk, and pink food coloring.
- Spread the coconut mixture over the cooled cake, cut into bars, and serve.
