- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions, mushrooms, and green bell pepper until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in half of the provolone cheese until melted.
- Stuff the mixture into the hollowed bell peppers.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with the remaining provolone cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
