Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions, mushrooms, and green bell pepper until softened.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in half of the provolone cheese until melted.
  6. Stuff the mixture into the hollowed bell peppers.
  7. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with the remaining provolone cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
