- 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs, mixing until well combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Top with the peach mixture, spreading it evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and nutmeg over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use ripe peaches.
- Can be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
