Description
Delightful oven-baked dumplings filled with seasoned meat or tofu, served with a creamy peanut sauce.
Ingredients
- Dumpling Wrappers
- Ground Meat (Chicken, Pork, or Crumbled Tofu)
- Chopped Vegetables (Cabbage, Carrots, Green Onions)
- Garlic (Minced)
- Soy Sauce
- Salt and Pepper
- Peanut Butter
- Soy Sauce for the Sauce
- Lime Juice
- Water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for optimal baking and crispiness.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, chopped vegetables, minced garlic, soy sauce, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly to incorporate all flavors.
- Lay out a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center—don’t overfill!
- Fold over the wrapper to create a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges firmly to seal tightly.
- Arrange the filled dumplings on a non-stick or parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush lightly with oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway for even cooking.
- For the peanut sauce, in a bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, and water until creamy and smooth.
- Serve hot, drizzling the dumplings with the peanut sauce or serving it on the side for dipping.
Notes
Make ahead by freezing uncooked dumplings and bake from frozen. Customize fillings with spices or other vegetables.
