  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  7. Spread Nutella evenly over the dough, then roll it up tightly.
  8. Cut the roll into equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  9. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough.
