- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup chocolate fudge for filling
- Chocolate ganache for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Blend on medium speed with an electric mixer for about two minutes.
- Gently mix in the boiling water. The batter will be thin.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about ten minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Level the top of the first cake layer and create a hollow center. Fill it with chocolate fudge.
- Stack the second cake layer on top.
- Enrobe the cake in chocolate ganache, ensuring it coats every edge.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
