Description
A sweet and spicy treat made from mixed peppers that adds a kick to any dish.
Ingredients

- 1 cup red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup yellow bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup green bell peppers, sliced
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the peppers by slicing them into rings.
- In a large pot, combine sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the sliced peppers to the pot and stir well to coat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the mixture to sterilized jars and seal tightly.
- Let the jars sit at room temperature for 24 hours, then refrigerate.
Notes
- These can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
- Great as a topping for burgers, sandwiches, or as a side dish.
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the heat level.
