- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 8 oz chocolate (milk or dark) for coating

Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or zip-top bag until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
- Combine softened cream cheese and peppermint extract with the Oreo crumbs until fully mixed and a dough forms.
- Form the mixture into small balls about the size of a tablespoon and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the truffles for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle in the melted chocolate, coating completely and allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Garnish with crushed Oreos or sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let the truffles set in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens completely.
