Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. During the last few minutes of grilling, place sliced avocados on top of the chicken and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
  7. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
