- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture over the chicken breasts.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, place sliced avocados on top of the chicken and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before grilling.
- Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
