- 2 cups maple syrup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, heavy cream, and butter over medium heat.
- Stir continuously until the mixture reaches a soft ball stage (around 235°F).
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, then beat the mixture until it thickens.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the fudge into a greased pan and let it set at room temperature.
- Once set, cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark maple syrup.
- Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature.
- Can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
