Description

A refreshing iced tea made with green tea, fresh mango, and mint, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 12 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  4. In a blender, combine the diced mango and mint leaves. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the mango-mint mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
  6. Add the cooled green tea and stir well. Sweeten with honey if desired.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves or mango slices if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger mango flavor, use more mango or a mango puree.
  • This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
