A refreshing beverage combining the flavors of mango and green tea, sweetened with honey.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  4. In a blender, combine the diced mango and honey. Blend until smooth.
  5. Mix the mango puree with the cooled green tea.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
  • For a stronger mango flavor, add more mango puree.
  • This drink can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
