- 2 black tea bags
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup honey or to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add the black tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the grated ginger and honey until dissolved.
- Add the diced mango and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Strain the tea to remove the mango pieces and ginger.
- Refrigerate the tea until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional mango slices or ginger if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
- This tea can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a stronger ginger flavor, let the ginger steep longer in the hot tea.
