Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange a layer of zucchini slices in a baking dish.
  3. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese over the zucchini.
  4. Pour a layer of marinara sauce over the ricotta.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with marinara on top.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese bubbles and is golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with basil if desired, and serve.
