Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
