Description

A deliciously juicy steak topped with a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a special dinner or a weekend treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Dijon mustard, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the steaks to the skillet, coating them with the creamy garlic sauce.
  8. Serve the steaks garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Let the steaks rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
  • This sauce pairs well with vegetables or mashed potatoes.
