Ingredients

  • 34 flavors of Jello gelatin powder (e.g., strawberry, lime, grape)
  • Additional sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter-sugar mixture until a cohesive dough forms.
  6. Divide the dough into 3–4 equal parts, adding different Jello flavors to each portion and mix well.
  7. Chill the dough portions in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Roll the chilled dough into balls, coat in sugar, and flatten slightly on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set and tops crackle slightly.
  10. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
