- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
- 1–2 jalapeños, diced
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg for egg wash (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the shredded cheese, diced jalapeños, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough toward the triangle point, sealing the edges tightly.
- Position the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden-brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These rolls can be assembled a few hours in advance. Consider adding bacon bits or sautéed onions for extra flavor.
