- 1 package Puff Pastry
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 medium Sliced Jalapeños
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Mix the filling with cream cheese, shredded cheddar, sliced jalapeños, and garlic powder.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the rolled pastry into strips about 2 inches wide.
- Fill one half of each pastry strip with the cheesy jalapeño filling and fold the other half over, sealing edges.
- Twist each sealed pastry strip into a spiral shape.
- Brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute cream cheese and cheddar with plant-based versions and use milk for egg wash.
