A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring tender honey garlic chicken served with roasted broccoli and fluffy rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Add chicken pieces to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add rice, and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
- On a baking sheet, toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
- In a skillet, cook the marinated chicken over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve the honey garlic chicken over rice with roasted broccoli on the side.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sesame seeds on top before serving.
- Adjust the amount of honey based on your sweetness preference.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
