- 1 cup pure pumpkin puree (unsweetened, no spices)
- 2 cups oat flour (or finely blended oats)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a medium bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, unsweetened applesauce, and peanut butter, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the oat flour and ground cinnamon, adding more flour as needed to achieve a manageable dough.
- Roll small portions of dough into sticks measuring about 4–5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.
- Place the sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and firm.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
These sticks freeze beautifully. Store extras in an airtight container for up to one week in the fridge or three months in the freezer.
