Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups warm water

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl until well-combined.
  2. Pour in the warm water, stirring gently with a wooden spoon until a shaggy, sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let the dough rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) about 30 minutes before baking, placing your Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  5. Dust a clean surface with flour and gently turn the rested dough onto it, folding the edges over to form a rough ball.
  6. Lift the dough using parchment paper and place it into the preheated Dutch oven carefully.
  7. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the lid and continue baking for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
