Description

Delicious homemade dog treats made with wholesome ingredients that your pup will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (or grain-free alternative)
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded meat (chicken, beef, or turkey)
  • 1/4 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup oats (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the meat, flour, broth, egg, and oats (if using). Mix until you achieve a consistent dough.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Use cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the treats are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before serving to your pup.

Notes

These treats keep well, so consider making a double batch. Store in an airtight container or freezer bag. You can also use an air fryer for a more even crisp.
