Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the tea bags and let steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  5. In a blender, puree the diced mangoes until smooth.
  6. Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove the pulp, if desired.
  7. Combine the cooled tea and mango juice in a pitcher.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger mango flavor, use more mangoes.
  • Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
