Delight your furry friend with these wholesome homemade dog treats made from banana, pumpkin, and oats.


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl until smooth, then mix in the pumpkin puree and peanut butter if using.
  3. Gradually add the whole wheat flour and oats, mixing until combined.
  4. Add water as necessary to form a soft, non-sticky dough.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool completely before serving.

Notes
