Delicious homemade biscuits for dogs made with wholesome chicken broth and applesauce or pumpkin.
Ingredients

- 2 cups whole wheat flour (or gluten-free alternative)
- 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or pureed pumpkin
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, applesauce (or pumpkin), and egg until thoroughly mixed.
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour, stirring until the dough forms. Knead gently until smooth.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the dough.
- Place the cut-outs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.
Notes
These biscuits can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge or frozen for up to three months.
