- ½ cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
- 1½ cups oat flour
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the peanut butter and coconut oil, stirring until combined.
- Incorporate the oat flour gradually until a firm dough forms.
- Roll the dough into chew sticks or use a piping bag for fun shapes.
- Place the sticks on the baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes for softer chews or lower the oven to 200°F (90°C) and bake for 1.5-2 hours for firmer chews.
- Let the sticks cool completely on a wire rack.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
Notes
Use overripened bananas for better sweetness and avoid sweetened peanut butter.
