Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
  • Salt and pepper to taste (for tzatziki)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  7. Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.

  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  • These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
