- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter to form a crust.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and baking powder until smooth.
- Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger lemon flavor, add more lemon zest.
- These bars can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
