- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 2 cups Honeycrisp apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, until just combined.
- Fold in the diced Honeycrisp apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Once the cake is done, let it cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding cinnamon to the batter.
