A delightful dessert combining creamy panna cotta with fruity jelly, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 cups mixed fruit juice (like orange, pineapple, or berry)
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder (for jelly)
  • 1/4 cup cold water (for jelly)
  • Fresh fruits for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm cream mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  5. For the jelly, heat the mixed fruit juice in a saucepan and sprinkle gelatin over cold water to bloom.
  6. Once the gelatin is bloomed, add it to the warm fruit juice and stir until dissolved.
  7. Let the jelly cool slightly, then pour it over the set panna cotta in the cups.
  8. Refrigerate again until the jelly is set, about 2 hours.
  9. Garnish with fresh fruits before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the panna cotta is fully set before adding the jelly layer.
  • You can use any fruit juice of your choice for the jelly.
  • For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use agar-agar instead of gelatin.
