- 4 Pita Bread
- 2 cups Lettuce
- 1 cup Tomatoes
- 1 cup Cucumbers
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ½ cup Yogurt or Tahini Sauce
- ¼ cup Fresh Herbs (Parsley or Cilantro)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Slice into strips.
- Warm the Pita Bread: Warm pita bread in the oven or skillet until soft and pliable.
- Build Your Pita: Take a warm pita and fill it with sliced chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and drizzle with yogurt or tahini sauce.
- Garnish with Fresh Herbs: Add fresh herbs on top for added flavor.
