  6. Transfer it to a floured proofing basket, cover it, and let it rise for another 1-2 hours.
  7. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) with the Dutch oven inside.
  8. Bake the covered dough for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  9. Cool the bread on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
