Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- Mix the Dough: Slowly pour in the water and olive oil. Stir gently until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead for Perfection: On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
- Divide & Shape: Divide your dough into equal portions and roll them into circular shapes about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cook to Golden Bliss: Heat your non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each bread for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
- Sprinkle Sesame Seeds: If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top while cooking, pressing them gently into the dough.
- Serve Warm: Enjoy the bread fresh and warm, perfect for pairing with dips or meals.
Notes
Make the dough ahead of time and store it in the fridge. No skillet? An air fryer works well too!
