Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean bowl, whisk the egg whites on medium speed until frothy.
- Add cream of tartar and increase the speed, beating until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar on high speed, beating until the meringue is glossy and stiff peaks form.
- Gently mix in Jello powder and vanilla extract until combined.
- Using a piping bag fitted with a star tip, pipe small mounds onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until dry to the touch and lift easily from parchment paper.
- Let the cookies cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for about an hour.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
