- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring (pastel colors)
- 4 cups frosting (buttercream or cream cheese)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Divide the batter into four bowls and add different pastel food coloring to each.
- Pour each colored batter into separate greased cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
- Layer the cakes with frosting in between and cover the entire cake with frosting.
- Decorate as desired for Easter.

- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before starting.
- Use gel food coloring for more vibrant colors.
- Store the cake in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
