Description

A whimsical dessert with vibrant layers of flavored gelatins and whipped cream, perfect for Easter celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 package (3 ounce) strawberry gelatin
  • 1/2 package (3 ounce) grape gelatin
  • 1/2 package (3 ounce) lemon gelatin
  • 1/2 package (3 ounce) berry blue gelatin
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 1/3 cups cold water
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Sprinkles for decoration
  • Bunny Peeps for garnish
  • 5 8-ounce mason jars

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Gelatin: Pour each flavor of gelatin into separate bowls and add 2/3 cup boiling water to each. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Mix the Cold Water: Add 1/3 cup cold water to each bowl and stir.
  3. Chill the Mixtures: Refrigerate each bowl for 20 to 30 minutes until thickened.
  4. Incorporate the Cool Whip: Once thickened, fold 1 cup of Cool Whip into each bowl.
  5. Layer in Jars: Using piping bags, layer the gelatin mixtures into the mason jars.
  6. Chill Again: Cover jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Finishing Touches: Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a Bunny Peep before serving.
