Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 banana, mashed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. In another bowl, blend applesauce, peanut butter, water, honey, and mashed banana until smooth.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Flour your countertop and roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Use cookie cutters to shape the treats.
  7. Place cut treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let the treats cool completely before serving.
