Instructions
- Cook the protein source in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked, around 10 minutes for chicken or 15 minutes for beef. Shred or chop into small pieces.
- Prepare sweet potatoes and rice according to package instructions. Sweet potatoes take about 20 minutes, while rice takes about 15-20 minutes.
- Chop veggies and steam them in a steamer basket over boiling water for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked protein, grains, and steamed vegetables. Stir well to combine.
- Allow the mix to cool to room temperature before serving.
