Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
  3. Add the apple sauce, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and egg. Mix until the dough comes together into a cohesive ball.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  5. Cut shapes using cookie cutters and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the treats turn golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before sharing with your dog.
