Ingredients

  • 1 package of ramen noodles
  • 2 cups of shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup of shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup of sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup of slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 packet of ramen seasoning

Instructions

  1. Break the ramen noodles into small pieces and cook according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, almonds, and sunflower seeds.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and ramen seasoning until well combined.
  4. Add the cooled ramen noodles to the vegetable mixture and pour the dressing over the top.
  5. Toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include chopped cilantro or sesame seeds.
  • This slaw can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
