A simple and delicious recipe for making chili in a crock pot, perfect for busy days.

			- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef to the crock pot.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the crock pot.
- Stir all ingredients until well combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Feel free to add more vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor.
- This chili can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more chili powder or jalapeños.
