- 1 cup dill pickle slices
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each pickle slice in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Carefully place the coated pickle slices in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
