Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- In a waffle maker, cook the batter according to the manufacturer’s instructions until golden brown.
- Serve the crispy chicken on top of the waffles, drizzled with maple syrup.
