- 1 loaf of sourdough bread
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the top off the sourdough bread and hollow out the inside, leaving a thick shell.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and green onions.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill the hollowed bread bowl with the creamy seafood mixture.
- Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the bread is slightly toasted.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the mixture.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Leftover filling can be served with crackers or vegetables.
