Description

Crab Rangoon Bombs are a delightful appetizer featuring a crispy exterior filled with a creamy crab mixture, perfect for parties or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well blended.
  2. Place a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wonton with water and fold to seal, forming a triangle or pouch.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
  • Ensure the oil is hot enough to prevent the wontons from absorbing too much oil.
  • Can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
