- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 12 slider buns
- 12 slices of American cheese
- Pickles (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped onion over medium heat until translucent.
- Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper, cooking until browned.
- Stir in the water and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- While the beef is cooking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the buns.
- Top with slices of cheese and pickles if desired.
- Cover with the top halves of the buns and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
- Serve with your favorite condiments like ketchup or mustard.
