Description

Delicious and easy-to-make sliders inspired by the classic White Castle recipe, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices of American cheese
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped onion over medium heat until translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper, cooking until browned.
  3. Stir in the water and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. While the beef is cooking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  6. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the buns.
  7. Top with slices of cheese and pickles if desired.
  8. Cover with the top halves of the buns and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
  • These sliders can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
