- 1 large egg

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (for frosting)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the bars are baking, prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth.
- Once the bars are cool, spread the frosting on top and cut into squares.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or raisins to the batter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw before serving.
